HOW CAN I PAY MY BILL, SET UP A PAYMENT PLAN, OR ADD INSURANCE INFORMATION TO MY ACCOUNT?

If you have a current statement, visit https://patient.statement.services/medical_landing to manage your account.  From here, you can pay your bill, set up a payment plan, or add insurance information.

I RECEIVED A TEXT ABOUT MAKING A PAYMENT. IS THIS LEGIT?

Yes.  These are legitimate texts with links to securely pay your balance via your mobile device.  They may look like the following:

I NEED A COPY OF MY MEDICAL RECORDS.

You can request your medical records online through the UCHealth MyHealthConnection at https://www.uchealth.org/access-my-health-connection/medical-records-uchealth.

I NEED A REFILL ON THE PRESCRIPTION I RECEIVED FROM MY EMERGENCY VISIT.

Emergency practitioners do not refill prescriptions.  You will have to follow up with your Primary Care Provider to determine if a refill is necessary.

I HAVE A FORM THAT NEEDS A PHYSICIAN'S SIGNATURE.

Your medical record and your UCHealth bill are generally sufficient for your insurance company.  The medical record will have the electronic signature of the provider you saw and is almost always accepted for insurance forms such as workers’ comp claims or additional insurance forms.  Your medical record can be requested online at https://www.uchealth.org/access-my-health-connection/medical-records-uchealth.

I RECEIVED A LETTER OR A CALL FROM WAKEFIELD AND ASSOCIATES.

WHY AM I RECEIVING MORE THAN ONE BILL? I ALREADY RECEIVED A BILL FROM THE HOSPITAL.

You will receive at least two bills for your emergency department visit.  One from the hospital (UCHealth) and one from the physician (Emergency Physicians of the Rockies).  If you had x-rays, you will also receive one from the radiologist and if you had special lab work you may also receive a bill from the pathologist.
